“spirituality is what lifts me into who I am”
Bonnie Violet is a trans femme genderqueer spiritual drag artists and digital chaplain.
Her intention is to be present with those in the process of death and dying to self by helping them lace their narrative with a spiritual thread to remind them of their resilience, build faith and cultivate hope in your future.
She seeks to accomplish this as a public speaker, digital chaplain & content creator.
As a public speaker she participates in panel discussions, facilitates workshops, preaches in churches and more.
As a chaplain she meets one on one with individuals experiencing a death in claiming a new identity and how that effects their spiritual status.

🏳️⚧️ Trans Joy Boise 📍 Boise, Idaho USA since Sept 2024
Trans Joy Boise is a community-driven organization committed to uplifting, empowering, and advocating for trans and nonbinary individuals across Idaho. Founded with the belief that everyone deserves to thrive, we work tirelessly to promote visibility, inclusion, and joy for our vibrant community.
Our mission is rooted in creating spaces where trans and nonbinary people can feel safe, celebrated, and valued. Through our dynamic events, educational programs, and collaborative community efforts, we are building a stronger, more inclusive Idaho—one where every trans person has the freedom and opportunity to live authentically.
We host events that range from celebrations of trans joy, such as our groundbreaking Trans Pride March, to more somber yet equally powerful moments of reflection, like the Trans Day of Remembrance. Every initiative we undertake centers on the idea of fostering a world that embraces our diversity and champions the unique experiences of every individual.
In addition to our public events, we’re passionate about providing educational resources, advocating for policy changes, and creating opportunities for dialogue that elevate trans voices and experiences. Whether it’s organizing a protest, offering support, or simply creating joyful gatherings, we are committed to making a lasting impact for our community.
At Trans Joy Boise, we know that the journey to equality and acceptance isn’t easy, but together, we’re paving the way for a future where every trans and nonbinary person feels seen, supported, and empowered to be their full selves.
Join us as we continue to celebrate diversity, stand up for equality, and create spaces of joy and belonging for the trans community in Idaho.

Across the country, 882 anti-trans bills have been introduced, with 25 of those in Idaho alone. Now, more than ever, we need to stand together and show our support for the trans community.
We are making history by organizing Idaho's first trans joy festival. This event aims to demonstrate solidarity with trans Idahoans, raise trans visibility, and celebrate our local trans history and the incredible individuals who are part of it.
To make this historic event a reality, we need your support. The march will take place on the evening of Friday, September 5th and activities for the Festival will take part all day and night, during Boise's Pride Weekend, in alignment with similar events across the United States.
Your contribution will help us cover the costs of permits, promotional materials, safety measures, and other essential expenses. Together, we can create a powerful and memorable event that will inspire and empower the trans community in Idaho and beyond.
